CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia - A huge business warehouse containing a large number of antique motor vehicles in the Central West has been destroyed in a major fire on Monday.

Police are investigating the fire which destroyed a business and multiple historic vehicles in the state's Central West.

Emergency services, including officers from the Central West Police District were called to an industrial area on March Street at Orange around 6:25am on Monday.

There they found found a large shed, believed to be the home of the Orange-based business Canobolas Auto Electrics, well alight.

Fire crews were ultimately able to extinguish the fire, however the shed's roof collapsed and completely destroyed the premises and its contents, including the historic vehicles.

Police say they have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
