Girl from Bathurst, 14, who failed to return home reported as missing

CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia - Police in the New South Wales Central West have mounted a search for a 14-year old Bathurst girl, who disappeared on Friday morning.

Elektra Harding, 14, was last seen about 9:00am Friday on Icely Road, Orange.

Officers from Chifley Police District were notified just before 7:00pm on Friday when she failed to return to her home in Bathurst that afternoon, and commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concern for the teenager's welfare.

Elektra is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build with brown hair, brown eyes and a nose piercing.

She has in the past been known to frequent the areas of Bathurst, Orange and Blayney.

As inquiries continue, anyone who may have seen her or who has information are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
