Public help sought in locating 54-year old woman in Blue Mountains

BLACKHEATH, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia - The search for Megan Cliff, 54 who went missing at Blackheath in the New South Wales Blue Mountains on Tuesday has ended.

Blue Mountains police have confirmed a body believed to be that of the missing woman was located in Blackheath, in the Grose Valley near the Valley View Lookout on Tuesday.

No formal identification has been carried out as the body will not be able to be retrieved until Wednesday.

Police however believe it is that of the missing woman.

The public has been thanked for their assistance in the search which was supported by volunteers from the RFS and SES.
